New for 2024, the Alternative Breakfast will provide an opportunity for up to 5 event attendees (any delegate, exhibitor, sponsor or current speaker) to give a 10 minute presentation to the Energy and Mines audience.
Potential speakers are asked to submit a presentation title and outline (up to 400 words). Summit attendees will be able to review and select the most interesting proposals up to a week before the Summit. The authors of the most popular 5 presentations will be invited to present at the Alternative Breakfast.
- This session runs in parallel with the One-to-One meetings. Attendees must choose to participate in either the One-to-Ones (available to speakers, mine pass holders, featured delegates) or the Alternative Breakfast (available to any attendee)
- Alternative Breakfast presentation submissions are open to registered attendees only
- Each presentation will be for 10 minutes plus 2 minutes for questions
- Presenters will be notified of their success one week before the summit and will be asked to submit presentation materials by May 6th.
- Abstracts (including speaker name and company) will be made available for public viewing and voting by attendees
- Our intention is to attract presentation proposals on topics we have not covered on the agenda, or specific case studies, technological developments or strategies that will engage the audience.
