Katie is the Head of Integration & Execution for Fortescue’s decarbonisation program, driving efforts across the business to deliver on Fortescue’s industry leading target of ‘real zero’ emissions in its Pilbara iron ore operations by 2030. Katie joined Fortescue in 2021 to lead the development of Fortescue’s decarbonisation strategy and now, as decarbonisation activities are transitioning from design to project execution, leads the team responsible for the integrated management of the decarbonisation program including program business case and decision evaluation, integrated program schedule, program level governance and risk management.

Prior to Fortescue, Katie had an extensive global career in management consulting working with clients to solve challenges relating to ESG, strategy, operational performance, and organisational excellence.  She has a double degree in Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Commerce and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia.
