Scott McFarlane is currently the Technical Director - Mining at XCMG Australia and is currently involved in several projects involving Battery Electric Mining machines. Prior to joining XCMG Scott worked at Bis Industries as the Group Manager for Engineering and was involved with the development of the Rexx and Hugo concept trucks. Scott has a long history in developing innovative equipment for the mining industry and was previously Chief Engineer for Powertrans who developed a range of large Dual Powered Road Trains for the mining industry. Scott has a degree in Aerospace Engineering from RMIT and has been involved in Innovative vehicle development for more than 30 years.
