Greg is the team leader for Secondary Electrical Engineering at Entura. He worked the first 15 years of his career predominantly in the oil and gas and mining sectors as a design engineer for instrumentation and electrical works, including onsite roles an Mobil Altona Refinery, Olympic Dam mine and Channel Island Power Station.

Presently, Greg serves as technical lead, manager and consultant in the power industry for projects including solar farms, wind farms, battery energy storage, hybrid power systems and pumped hydro energy storage. This is in addition to a base engineering workload in greenfield and brownfield projects in established power industry fields such as utility substations, industrial installations, combustion engine driven generation and hydroelectric power. Greg was the technical lead for Entura’s services on the Agnew hybrid energy system which included supply, programming and commissioning of the Microgrid Control System, dynamic optimisation of generator control parameters using PSCAD modelling, and optimisation of power station and outgoing circuit protection.
