Andrew Waite is Director of Sales & Business Development, Australia, for Sumitomo Foster Wheeler. In this role, Andrew helps energy companies and industrial facilities improve efficiency and environmental performance through technology modifications and upgrades along with developing business opportunities for carbon capture and long duration energy storage.

I have responsibility for developing and maintaining senior-level customer relationships, supporting our market development teams, liaising with regulators, policy makers, consultants, and key stakeholders in the Australian market. Specific areas of interest are the heavy industrial sector, including Mining,
Cement, Fertilizer and Chemical manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper and the Power sector.

Prior to joining Sumitomo SHI FW, my industry experience has included Consulting, Project Development and various leadership and operational roles in the Southeast Asian and Australian energy industry.
