Tijana joined Fortescue as Group Manager Green Metal in 2024 with responsibility
for the delivery of Fortescue’s green iron metal projects globally. She is passionate
about collaborating with industry to deliver economically viable decarbonisation
solutions with a particular focus on the steel industry.

With a career spanning both funds management and mining across a range of
ASX20 global organisations including South32 and BHP, Tijana has significant
experience in the resources sector across several commodities including bulk and
base metals. Her experience includes business strategy and innovation, business
analysis, financial risk management and digital transformation.
Tijana was named in the 2020 Global Inspiring Women in Mining list, was a finalist
of the 2018 Chambers of Minerals and Energy Outstanding Young Woman in
Resources Award and has completed the Chief Executive Women Leaders Program
and Blue Ocean Strategy Program. Tijana holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia.
